You might be wondering...

What makes Anamalz different?

Anamalz are a little different from your average wooden animal. Handcrafted from wood, plush and rope, with bendable limbs and plenty of personality, they’re made for imaginative play, adventures and stories that grow with them.

Do their arms and legs really move?

They sure do. Anamalz have bendable rope limbs, so little hands can pose them, move them and bring them to life. No batteries, buttons or screens required.

Are they made for playing or displaying?

Both. Anamalz are made for real play, but beautiful enough to leave out when playtime is over. And because they’re made to last, they often become the toys that are kept long after childhood.

Is this a good gift?

Definitely. Anamalz are something a little different from the usual plastic toy — beautifully handcrafted, full of personality and made to last. The kind of gift that becomes a favourite now, and a keepsake later.

He is precious

He is precious.I love the big floppy ears and the fabric on the trunk that makes it wrinkly. Belatedly want to your question about the hippo. Precious as well. Grey body and tiny little ears you can think about wiggling as hippos ears do.

Thank you for your sweet words! We're so glad you find the Elephant adorable.

Toddler loves them!

My toddler loves his elephant. I originally bought him flat wood animals and he didn’t play with them much. He loves the texture on these and plays with them daily! He’s a bit rough with his toys but I don’t have to worry because these are so well made. Can’t wait to add more to his collection.

Hi Kayla,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review! We're delighted to hear your little one is enjoying his elephant and reaching for it every day.

The way Anamalz fit comfortably into small hands was actually a key part of the design process. We wanted each animal to be easy for children to grasp, carry and play with independently. The different textures are also intentionally included to create a more engaging sensory experience and encourage open-ended play.

It's wonderful to hear that your toddler is putting his Anamalz through its paces and that it's standing up to the adventure! We can't wait for his collection to grow.

Please let us know if we can be of any help in the future!

I love the elephant

I love the elephant, part of my first purchase. It is so cute and I really like that the legs are flexible. This is a gift for my great nephew's birthday and I'm excited to see his reaction when he opens it. I think he'll be getting more for Christmas!

Great Personalized Service and Exemplary Product

What a company, with sensitive team members! I ordered an elephant for my daughter-in-law for an early Christmas present. She collects them. I ran into some confusion on shipping and dropped a note to Anamalz. In the same day, I was contacted by customer service and shipping was clarified. My customer contact oontinued to update me until I received the elephant, which is so well made and adorable. Definitely a long term collector's item! Now I want some for myself!

Thanks Anne for your feedback! So happy we could fix the confusion on shipping and the Elephant arrived safe and sound. We look forward to seeing you again!

Disappointed! Materials & workmanship NOT as advertised!

Dear Craig,

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with our Elephant product. We strive to provide high-quality materials and impeccable workmanship, and we apologize if this was not reflected in your purchase. We would love to make things right and address your concerns. Please reach out to us at info@anamalz.com so we can further assist you. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Wood finish

My grand daughter had a friend over that put the anamals in her mouth. When she left I rinsed them with cool water only so the fabrics would not fade or come undone. I am sad to say that the wood peeled in several areas. That was the first day that she even played with them. As a kinder teacher and grandma I feel like for the price you should be able to wipe them with water and not have that happen. I would love to be able to use them for the next couple of years since I plan on homeschooling. If there is a way to send photos and get ideas on how to remedy the situation, I would love to recommend them. They are really cute.

Hi Laura, Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and your kind words about our little elephant — we love knowing he’s found a home filled with imagination and care. We’re really sorry to hear about the wood finish. While our Anamalz are made from natural materials and sealed with a clear lacquer, they don’t like baths or rinses — only a gentle wipe — as water can sometimes affect the finish over time.

That said, we absolutely want you to enjoy them for years to come, especially with your homeschooling plans ahead. We’ll reach out to you privately to make things right as we certainly want Anamalz to be your future.

Thanks again for being part of our Anamalz world. Lou x

So cute

Bought this elephant with three other anamalz for my sister for her birthday (she collects wooden toys) and she loved him. So cute, he has little moving parts and the fabric for his ears and trunk is adorable. Arrived so quickly too with a nice little personalised note which was so lovely too. Will be buying more for her - she’s been told that she isn’t to buy her own, she was already on the website 5 minutes after she opened them! Haha.

Awww this made us smile so much! Big birthday hugs to your sister—and you get gold stars for best gift-giver ever! The elephant is blushing from all the love (and flapping those fabric ears with pride).

We love that she was already back on the site five minutes later—sounds like a true Anamalz collector in the making. Don't worry, we’ll keep her well stocked with cuteness (but only through you, of course 😉).

Thanks again for the kind words!

Happy grandson

My two year old grandson loves his elephant. He moves the trunk and makes a sound of an elephant.

Thanks Diane! That’s the sweetest image—your little grandson trumpeting away with his elephant buddy! We’re so glad they’ve become fast friends. Sounds like he’s already a pro at elephant speak (next up: jungle safari guide?).

Thanks Angela! We’re so happy you think the elephant is adorable—he’s been flapping his fabric ears with pride! Your grandson is in for a trunk-load of fun. Big cuddly thanks for choosing Anamalz!
