You might be wondering...
What makes Anamalz different?
Anamalz are a little different from your average wooden animal. Handcrafted from wood, plush and rope, with bendable limbs and plenty of personality, they’re made for imaginative play, adventures and stories that grow with them.
Do their arms and legs really move?
They sure do. Anamalz have bendable rope limbs, so little hands can pose them, move them and bring them to life. No batteries, buttons or screens required.
Are they made for playing or displaying?
Both. Anamalz are made for real play, but beautiful enough to leave out when playtime is over. And because they’re made to last, they often become the toys that are kept long after childhood.
Is this a good gift?
Definitely. Anamalz are something a little different from the usual plastic toy — beautifully handcrafted, full of personality and made to last. The kind of gift that becomes a favourite now, and a keepsake later.

This Hippo is one of the first animals I saw & I couldn’t leave him by himself, so I bought some friends for him. These toys are so cute & well made.

Bought the Hippo and 5 other animals for my Autistic grandson. He absolutely loved them! They are adorable and such good quality. I have a feeling I’ll be purchasing more.
And what do you know? There is an Anamalz for that! She is charming, always smiling, and has found a permanent home on my desk - reminding me not to take work (or myself) too seriously. Who says Anamalz are just for kids? Don't wait. I know she has other anamalz friends who are looking for homes, too. They are all wonderful. You won't be disappointed!
Hi Gwendolyn, Hippo is totally adorable with the biggest smile! I bet she's super chuffed she's found a permanent home on your desk. And - great advice - yes, let's not take work or ourselves too seriously. We love that you have discovered Anamalz are not just for kids. Thank you for your kind review. We're so happy to be part of your world.

Loved it
Thank you for your positive review! We're thrilled to hear that you loved our Hippo. Your satisfaction means everything to us. Have a great day!
Just kinda blah, unspecial. It really doesn’t move very much, not much to do with it. Going to be more of a decoration than a toy.
Hi there! We're sorry to hear that our Hippo product didn't meet your expectations. Although you find him unspecial, we hope at least his cute cheeky smile will bring you some joy.
Loved it, very cute!
Thank you for your adorable review! We're so happy to hear that you loved our Hippo. It is indeed very cute. We appreciate your support and hope to see you again soon!
This little guy is so cute and sturdy! I can’t wait to see what my granddaughter thinks of him.
Hi Amy,
Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re so happy to hear you love our little hippo—he’s been known to win hearts.
We hope your granddaughter adores him just as much as we do. He’s made to last a lifetime (and then some), so he’s ready for all sorts of adventures ahead!
I’m a huge hippo fan! This guy is adorable! I’m in love with and all of his friends that I also received!
Hi Jeanne,
A big hippo-sized thank you! ❤️
We’re so thrilled you’re in love with your new herd—our hippo has a big heart and even bigger dance moves, so he’s lucky to have found a fan like you.
Sending smiles from all his Anamalz friends too—they’re already planning their next adventure together!
Larger than expected. Excellent quality and like the moving parts. I can change my hippo’s look /stance everyday. Like the weight too-won’t topple over. Great product!
Yay! We're hippo-ver the moon you love your Roaming Mountain buddy!
He does have some serious stage presence, doesn’t he? One day he’s doing barrel rolls, the next he’s a disco king striking poses like it’s the ‘70s again. Thanks for noticing his sturdy stance—we like to think of him as the strong, silent (and occasionally wiggly) type.
Sending you a happy hippo hug and a standing ovation from the mountains!
Lou x ️✨
Love this hippo so much!
Thanks Karen! 🦛💜 We're thrilled you love your hippo—he’s been doing a happy little hippo dance ever since he heard! With his sturdy stance and wiggly charm, he’s ready for all the adventures (and maybe a bit of disco on the side). So glad he found his forever home with you!
Lou x 🎶✨
Bought the hippo, giraffe, lion and elephant for my sister who collects wooden toys for her birthday. She LOVED them, they are so adorable and well made and honestly, just the cutest little things! Who says toys are for kids!
Thanks Jane!
Your sister clearly has excellent taste—what a dream team of wooden charmers! We’re over the moon that she loved them. And yes, who does say toys are just for kids? Anamalz are for the young and the young at heart (and the fabulous gift-givers like you!).
Sending you both a big bundle of smiles and wiggles!

I absolutely love this hippo so much! It’s super cute and totally fun to play with! I highly recommend this precious hippo!
Karen, you just made our hippo do a happy little wiggle!
We’re so thrilled you love your precious hippo—he’s got a big heart, wobbly moves, and now, a very proud grin thanks to your lovely words. Thank you for spreading the hippo love and for being part of the Anamalz fam!
Lou x ✨
